Dear Bug Team!
When I scroll a window in xemacs containing the characters 'Ò', or
'Ó', little dots get left on the screen. (I'm not sure if those
characters will make it through this email. Their integer values are
210 and 211.) Here's how to reproduce the bug:
Switch to the scratch buffer. At the end of the buffer, type M-:
(insert (int-to-char 210)) RET.
Now put the cursor at the beginning of the line and type C-o a few
times to make the character scroll down. You'll see little dots left
on the screen where the accent mark was.
Note that I'm displaying the XEmacs window on a mac under OSX 10.3's
version of X11... although can't see why it would be any different on
another X server. I've tried running the XEmacs process on linux/x86
and OSX, and they both behave the same.
