But Martin didn't merely do spelling fixes. Martin implemented (and
perhaps unilaterally made for all I know; I don't know where
spelling policy is defined for XEmacs) a policy decision that XEmacs
documentation use American spelling conventions as opposed to
British.
Those are still spelling fixes. If they in practice constitute a
policy change, that is irrelevant for this discussion, because policy
changes are not documented in ChangeLog.
Some people might object;
I objected, and was overruled. I still see no relevance to
changelogs.
