Hi!
I don't know. I'm looking at a diff against 21.5.12 HEAD
which says
that entries for x-symbol and ecb are new in my workspace.
x-symbol didn't make it into the last official release due to a small
error. It's pre-released, though. I don't know nothing new about
ecb. It's been released.
Hmm ... actually I don't see a notice for it. And checking cvs
status
it apparently hasn't been updated since ... uh ... 21.5.7. Ook.
Wait, do you say that the current package-index file should be
committed somewhere (apart from my "backup" checkins in xemacs-build)?
I feel like Manuel in Fawlty Towers ... "I know nozzing" :-)
Maybe some of Steve's recent work caused the version in my source
tree
to get updated, when in the past it was in ~/.xemacs/? That's bad, I
think, or at best a PITA since cvs diffs are going to go nuts every
time you update a bunch of packages.
Should I just check it in for now? :-)
Whatever pleases you :) It looks like you're way ahead of me anyway,
so I can't comment, although I should be able to ... ahem.
TIA for any light shed into this,
norbert.
