Greetings.
The initial make over work on
www.xemacs.org is complete, I think.
There are still a couple of holes, particularly in the links sections,
and most notably the installation instructions, but everything else is
done.
Everything is basically in place; all I have to do is move the new
front page into place, and the new site will be live. I'm planning on
doing that later tonight (say, around 11 PM MDT, or 1600 UTC). I'll
post a notice on the front page and the newsgroup when it does go live.
I'll be adding more links, etc. over the next week or two, as I work
thru my bookmarks file. At some point, the Elisp packages section is
going to get expanded, with packages categorized by function and
blurb'd as to exactly what they do.
I'm also starting to think about the longer term; work on a stronger,
faster, smarter, SSI-using, HTML 4 strict/CSS 1 compliant template
will begin shortly.
If anybody's got a bit of free time this afternoon, they could (a)
pound on all the links and make sure I didn't miss something and (b)
check for obvious mistakes and typos and stuff.
Thanks to everyone who commented, criticized, contributed, or otherwise
helped out!
john.
