It seems that the new make rules do not build the binkit anymore
when
you use the "binkit" rule. You have to explicitly say:
make $STAGING/pcl-cvs-1.34-pkg.tar.gz
for example. Is this intentional?
"binkit" wasn't ever intended to be a visible rule. It was created so
that individual Makefiles could specify their own installation
sequence[1]. The "bindist" rule is the one to be using to create tarballs.
