Request For Feature - `read-string-maybe-box' - XEmacs-Beta

        I'd like to call `read-string' and have it prompt for input via a
dialog box if it was invoked from a rat event.  Same for
`read-number'. 

If this can be done already please let me know how because I couldn't
find it.
