I had to do this on my office machine, that's why it took me a little
longer.
Under Solaris2.5.1 with CDE I
started xemacs -vanilla (emacs-version "21.0 \"Corsican\" XEmacs
Lucid")
and then evaluated the following sexps in *scratch* one after the
other.
(setq debug-on-error t)
(setq debug-on-quit t)
(load-library "x-win-sun.el")
(load-library "dired")
The bug COULD NOT be reproduced.
I'll keep you posted.
