================================================================ Dear Bug Team! I've been using the zenicb mode with "ancient" xemacs versions for a long time without any problems. With the current beta releases I consistently (but not realy reliably reproducable at will) have the problem that the zenicb mode sometimes "looses sync". I guess there are some bytes swallowed or something. This happens "often" but not always, i.e. I sometimes can zenicb for multiple hours until it hits - but sometimes only for minutes. When the bug hits, zenicb outputs things like this: [server] [server] XXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX [server] XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (where all real output was replaced with X by me). The ^＠ and following chars are part of the ICB protocol and normally are properly decoded, only the XXXX stuff should have been displayed. This, of course, might be a bug in the zenicb code, hidden by other things in older xemacs versions - but my lisp is too weak to check this, unfortunately. I'm not using xemacs for other network operations, so I don't know if other modes are affected by this as well. Please let me know what further data I could provide to help track this down.
