Hi Adrian!
Thanks for doing this. Although selecting too many months for
restructions still doesn't really work, at least it generates warnings
now:
Ah, I did not work on this issue.
I was not able to solve it last time I looked.
The limit is 4 selection.
1. Go to
http://list-archive.xemacs.org/xemacs-patches/
2. search for 'glyph document', selecting partial match and restrict
matching files to Oct 2004 - Feb 2005
3. This results in many copies of the following error:
GLIMPSEOUT:/web/http-xemacs/bin/glimpse: regular expression too long
Yeah, that's been in there for a while.
This is a _significant_ improvement over the old situation, where the
search would silently fail.
The improvement of today was that articles indexed since June 2004 can
be found.
The solution was to configure wilma to use the information in the new
place, as also configured in the webserver.
(In this particular case, missing out Oct 2004 causes the search to
succeed.)
Yes, I can confirm that, 4 month selections should be OK.
Thanks,
Vin
Your welcome!
Adrian
