On this i386-pc-solaris2.7, my lucid menubars looked like this in b15: That is, they used -*-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-* for the font. This, concidentally, is the same font as specified in src/Emacs.ad.h. In b17, it looks like this: Presumably that's one of the default CDE fonts. I tried setting the font myself in my .Xdefaults with the string from the Emacs.ad.h (with the addition of the Emacs* prefix) as follows: Emacs*menubar*Font: -*-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-* but it doesn't work either. What happened? What can I do to return it to the earlier font?
