Dear Bug Team! This is a problem I've encountered with several versions of XEmacs. I run XEmacs with one frame on my real (:0.0) display, and another frame on a VNC display (:1). I'll work with one for a while, then switch to the VNC frame (when working remotely) repeatedly. I run compilations, igrep-find's and cscope searches, and eventually after switching frames the first one of these that I run crashes XEmacs.
