ok, i just resent what i sent a second ago to you to efs-bugs, despite the fact
that it's not a bug, but a patch, and M-x efs-report-bug makes no sense here.
did you really mean what you said in this case?

No. EFS reports should *always* go to:
efs-bugs(a)hplb.hpl.hp.com
via M-x efs-report-bug
due to the fact that EFS bug reports rarely contain enough information
to be acted upon without the information provided by it. I don't
care that much about mail addressed to me personally.
Before the NT folks yell at me again for not blindly applying every
patch coming my way (I *did* put up a test snapshot way before the
release), let me note that the CWD hackery is in place to work around
a bug in wu-ftpd 2.6, which means just about every other ftp server in
the universe. Therefore, I'll need some time to assess and test (!)
any fix for this I come up with.

In order to save my hands, I am cutting back on my mail. I also write
as succinctly as possible -- please don't be offended. If you send me
mail, you _will_ get a response, but please be patient, especially for
XEmacs-related mail. If you need an immediate response and it is not
apparent in your message, please say so. Thanks for your understanding.
