System: xemacs 21.0 Pyrenean-pre6, Solaris 2.5.1
A colleague of mine pointed out the following annoyance. I agree with
him, it's quite annoying.
Start up xemacs -vanilla. Make the window fairly narrow. Turn on
truncate lines via the options menu. Now C-x C-f and start entering a
a long path. When you reach the right side of the frame, the cursor
stops moving right, and you can't see what you're typing anymore.
Yuck!
The obvious workaround is to turn off truncate lines. A better
solution is if truncate lines were off for the minibuffer.
