If you can separate the ClearCase support into a clearcase.el that works with VC, you're probably best off doing that. I don't know. I've never used ClearCase and I don't have access to it. Whatever you guys come up with that doesn't prevent VC from being readily synched with latest versions in FSF Emacs is O.K. with me.
