Thanks. Here is the fix:
Index: efs.el
At first glances (about 2 minutes of testing) everything seems to be
fine. There were no errors/warnings with Options -> Manage Packages
-> List and Install.
However the patch to package-get.el that I got here a little while ago
(was that your patch, Adrian?) was still needed. Otherwise I still
got the "Opening Input: blah blah... file or directory does not exist"
error.
