If one is reading via the list, how can the message identifier be
discovered?
Blue-sky thinking, the listserver should assign the archival ID *before*
passing the message around the list. The archival ID should then be
included in the RFC822 "envelope", probably as "Resent-Message-ID:
".
I know that is NOT an Xemacs problem -- I don't know who maintains your
listserver. If someone will point, I'll take it up with them.
