I agree. I'd be really, really upset if the default changed. Plus, I
always use C-k to mean kill to end of line. I've never conciously
wanted to kill the whole line. I use C-a C-k C-k to do that. Too
much motor memory.
I'm usually pretty good at adapting to different keyboards (except for
Ctrl/Capslock), but I still find my self using xemacs keystrokes when
I'm editing a word document. That just totally hoses the document
layout!
