I noticed that when I use xemacs-21.5-b6 -nw on kterm with TERM=kterm,
some of keystrokes (including C-n) won't correctly passed to xemacs.
I tried to set debug-emacs-events and found xemacs didn't receive C-n
at all.
After that, I found that with xterm, TERM=kterm had the same ill
effects. So I feel something wrong with termcap entry, but until
xemacs-21.5-b5 there was no such problem at all.
I'm using FreeBSD-4.5 and bundled /etc/termcap. The entry of kterm is
as follows:
kterm|kterm kanji terminal emulator (X window system):\
:hs:es:ts=\E[?E\E[?%i%dT:fs=\E[?F:ds=\E[?H:\
:KJ:sc=\E7:rc=\E8:cs=\E[%i%d;%dr:TY=ascii:tc=xterm:
I'm not sure which is wrong, /etc/termcap or xemacs itself ?
Here is the 'Installation' file of my xemacs-21.5-b6:
