This is the first configure failure I can remember.
On Solaris 2.5.1, PNG 1.0.2, png.h says:
#define PNG_LIBPNG_VER 10002 /* 1.0.2 */
./configure gives:
checking for pow... yes
checking for png.h... yes
checking for png_read_image in -lpng... yes
checking for workable png version information... no
checking for tiffio.h... yes
Corsican correctly detected this same PNG.
I don't see why I'm not getting this message from configure.h:
*** WARNING *** $png_problem
I'm not touching that with a 10-foot pole!
If you really want to use the installed version of libPNG, rerun
configure and add '--with-png=yes', but don't blame me if XEmacs
crashes!"
Jareth, it looks like you recently patched PNG detection -
let me know what further info you need.
