You've probably heard that I recently let the smoke out of my CPU &
M/Board and you know how hard it is to get the smoke back in...
I haven't yet replaced the bar-b-que'd parts, but I have been able to
borrow some hardware from a friend. So I'm online again! :-) The
only thing is that until I get my own bits and pieces again I may go
offline at any time if my friend needs his box back. With a bit of
luck it won't come to that.
Even though I was able to access my mail while I had no hardware,
via my local library, the time was very restricted and the bandwidth
very congested (the library needs bigger pipes) means that I"m a
little out of the loop. Can anyone give me a very quick summary of
what's happening right now? Just to save me pouring over megabytes
of mailing list archives. :-)
