AFAIK it's always been free. Bob's marketing people seemed to think
it was a good idea to restrict visibility so that people would go to
Altrasoft/BeOpen to get the software.
In any case, we may have a volunteer to maintain the whole thing
(InfoDock, that is) as packaged Lisp, and Bob has expressed interest
in merging as much C-level code as possible (he's very attracted by
the idea of getting a free Windows port, they did one specially and it
hurt ;-).
He has explicitly given the go-ahead to packagize oo-browser and
hyperbole, and I think we have a volunteer to maintain that, too.
I think Bob intends to keep close control of development, we need to
work out details of import to XEmacs CVS and stuff. If you're
interested in working on this, let me know offline.
