Is that the complete backtrace? The frames just above would be more
interesting. However your "reproduction recipe" sounds familiar.

and the corresponding thread ring any bells? I think this is your bug.
The idea is basically that your keystroke comes in with a window id of
a window that XEmacs thinks has deleted.
That is this bug is in 21.1.x is new. Were you running any of the
21.1.x series before? (just in case one of the backported fixes from
21.2 is the cause)
