All,
First, the new package system looks wonderful, so thanks for that.
Now, my problem. I've installed an XEmacs 21 rpm on my Red Hat 5.2 box:
xemacs-21.0-1.b67
It did not include the xemacs-base package, which seems an oversight by
the RPM builder. So I grabbed the latest xemacs-base package on Friday and
installed by hand. This gave me EFS so I was prepared to start adding
packages with the pui stuff. However, here's where I ran into trouble.
Even though my xpm libraries are installed properly and up-to-date, I'm
still getting this error consistently:
Symbol's function definition is void: xpm-button-create
xemacs-base is in /usr/lib/xemacs-21.0/lisp/xemacs-base, which contains:
xpm-button.el
So the elisp seems fine (to me), as does the libXpm stuff.
Anyone have any suggestions how I can get this to work?
Best,
Kendall Clark
