| It's easy to make the argument optional, but note that XEmacs has a
| whole bunch of functions starting with `window-'. Do you think all
| should be changed that way?
This is just my opinion, but if function starts with argument BUFFER ot WINDOW or FRAME,
they all should be optional and by default refer to current (active) unit.
(function BUFFER) --> (function &optional BUFFER)
(function WINDOW) --> (function &optional WINDOW)
(function FRAME) --> (function &optional FRAME)
