I think you're going to have to supply the RCS ,v file.
Ok,
here it comes. Since I sometime checkin automatically
using the after-save-hook so that is why there are around
120 checkins.
When I remove version 2.2 (rcs -o2.2 lettre.tex) then
vc-annotate works.
I have the feeling it is a coding problem (caused by
x-symbols most likely)
I looked at the ,v file and there is something odd, in
version 1.88 parts of another file appear (and they should
not be in) either this part escaped my kill ring or one of
my registers which I use extensively, but again this is in
version 1.88 and not in 2.2.
I tried to debug
vc-rcs-annotate-command but this is an ordeal since it runs
through 120 checkins.
