You can figure that out by doing C-h f xpm-button-create RET which can tell you it autoloads from xpm-button (but probably won't, since the doc-string is in the package with the function definition). Then M-x locate-library RET xpm-button can tell you it's from xemacs-packages/lisp/xemacs-base/xpm-button (again, only if you've managed to really do something weird since that information is also in the package itself).
