Hello This drives me crazy, the modline of some files are so overloaded that I cannot see the version number of a file under vc control. In earlier vc version that was easy to know (vc-state buffer-file-name) Was your friend, this function is gone, and I don't know what is his substitute. I tried to debug vc-next-action and the like but without any result. Anybody can help me?
