Not that I know of. This seems to be a problem with the network

I asked on the lists a few months ago (the last time Uwe had this problem)
about moving the packages to Mercurial, and the consensus was in favour of
it. Mike (Sperber), you had a script to import CVS into hg, right? Was that
yours, or a standard tool?
It's also possible that updating doesn't exercise the server
in the
same way, but I would guess the problem is the network.
