When I tried the previous netinstall, I got partway through when the ftp site started rejecting my connections with (paraphrased) "you can't have more than 4 simultaneous connections." It would appear that either the ftp site was not quite working right, or the netinstall wasn't properly closing connections between files. Also, I've personally had extremely slow transfers from the ftp site. My office has a 4 Mbit connection to the internet, and I was barely getting modem-speed downloads.
