Can't connect via gnuclient

Unless you compile XEmacs with special configuration regarding gnuserv, there should be a socket /tmp/gsrvdir$UID/gsrv where UID is your user's ID. I suspect that this is related. Does that file exist? Does it have the right permissions? (Does Leopard use ACLs?) I doubt it.
