I did a GNATS about ten years ago. It sucked. We also had a
mailing list devoted to bug reports. It sucked too and was
disk eater as people would mail coredumps no matter how
much we told them not to.
It would be nice to have a bug tracking system that didn't
suck. If at first you don't succeed, give up and let someone
else try it ...
I can offer an evaluation of a system because right now, my
head is buried pretty deep in a bug tracking system.
For anything you're doing though, I'd make sure that you spread
the load out. One or two people handling all the bug reports is
going to suck no matter what.
