Works for me. What patches have you applied to XEmacs? Your
backtrace makes me suspect it's due to the "brute force make x-symbol
work" patch.
Exactly. I will compile it without the patch and see.
BTW what is the state of this patch for 21.5.30/31? Just
from this behaviour I assume you don't want it to be
included in.
