Not 20 minutes after writing this, xemacs choked on me again. Same
symptoms, same stack trace, same type of "xwininfo -tree" output. The
kbd event that induced the trouble was a measly Control_R key (keycode
66, from x_event->xkey.keycode).
Nonetheless, the trouble seems to occur much less often. Jan
wondered/worried whether update_frame_window_mirror was being misused
elsewhere -- perhaps there are simply more cantankerous occurrences of
the same problem elsewhere?
