YMMV This is probably a bug in XEmacs, but I'm not sure how to deal with it. The problem is that IMO there should be *no* -*-UTF-8 fonts, as UTF-8 is not a coded character set. The coded character set is ISO10646-1, aka Unicode. Probably we should be translating that LANG setting to search for ISO10646-1 fonts in the font selection code somewhere, although I think there's an initialization that puts it in there. Could you guys provide the output of "xlsfonts -fn '-*-utf-8'" and "xlsfonts -fn '-*-iso10646-?'" for me?
