No, it's not. We've already been over this. Please rebuild your
XEmacs without error checking and you should get a massive speed
increase in dired.

That patch created problems in the past.
I think you're confusing my patch with someone else's. The
original, buggy, patch (not mine) had a problem where inserting
subdirectories was not properly indented. This one does not have this
problem. I don't know of any bugs with this patch, and I'd like to hear
of any.
