/usr/dt is still an abomination. We already have directories for
putting graphics stuff or libraries in. There's no point in putting Motif libs
in a CDE directory just because CDE needs it. If I just want to write a
non-cde Motif based application, I shouldn't have to deal with a cde directory
at all. Moreover, we have standard places like /usr/include usr/lib and the
like. Populating /usr like this is really no good.
You are drawing a fine distinction. If you have CDE you do not separately
ave Motif. The Motif libraries and header files are truely part of CDE.
The libXm that comes with CDE provides Motif support, but is not exactly
the same as teh corrersponding real Motif library.
