You made a mistake by saying "I" :-)
Bob Olson and Ilya Zakharevich
are listed as authors, and "XEmacs Development Team" as maintainer,
but the bug I want to report is not XEmacs-specific.
You check whether the bug is fixed in Ilya Zakharevich latest version
(which it probably is) and then do the sync that is long overdue :-).
If it is not fixed by Ilya., you do the sync anyway, Ilya is again the
maintainer and you mail it him.

P.S. The only really import XEmacs specific stuff in our versions is
the support for delete-key-deletes-backwards. IIRC
