Customize widget bug & font underline bug

Greetings, During an attempt to test whether XEmacs 21.2-b43 would be improved so much from 21.1.* that I could move from Emacs to it, I noticed that when I click the show button of Dired No Confirm option in a buffer generated with M-x customize-apropos RET dired RET, I get a result shown in picture at <URL:http://www.iki.fi/azure/var/bugreports/xemacs-customize.png>. As you can see from the same picture, the old font underline problem that I have reported earlier is still there. I.e. the underline is at too high point. My system is Debian GNU/Linux unstable x86 with XFree86 3.3.6, and I recall that the underline problem is caused by a buggy font distributed with at least this XFree86 version, but the fact is that I still have to use 3.3.6 for some time and if XEmacs doesn't provide a work-around for this problem, this is such a showstopper for me that I won't be using XEmacs. -- Hannu
