Can you please provide more information about your system and the
compiler you are using?

When removing ~/.xemacs so xemacs started up in default mode, it worked
until I started loading some features via lisp scripts.
After completely removing all xemacs related data, including all lisp
scripts, and recompiling everything from scratch it works now. I cannot
reproduce the problem anymore, I'm sorry.
