Probably, but I don't know much about how this works in the MS world.
It's possible that we could get the italic correction and do something
about it systematically. I'll see if I can convince Ben or Andy to
look at it.

That was a deliberate change, but I don't know for sure what the
rationale is. I think it's a denser font, so you get more text on
screen for the same point size.
