(http://www.medialogic.it/projects/mlview/)? The link seems to be dead
at the moment. Let's hope that their server is just temporarily down.
I use it regularly to tunnel X traffic through a VPN to access my
servers at work. Oh, cable modem (1M/256K) BTW. I typically have
several XEmacs frames and a waveform viewer on my desktop. Plus some
funky application that sports both a Java and TCL/Tk GUI -- at the
same time 8-]
Of course this might only be a band aid to cover up the actual
problem.
