He's got a point. What do we return on (native) Windows? What should
we do? There needs to be a sensible idiom for determining whether
this kind of platform-dependency function works without memorizing
them all.
Lennart Borgman (gmail) writes to emacs-devel:
returns t, but when I just tried to use `make-symbolic-link' on
Windows XP it gives me
File error: "Symbolic links are not supported"
That seems a bit inconvenient to me. Should it really be this way?
