Running "xemacs21-nomule -vanilla" (this should be without mule support)
(emacs-version is "21.1 (patch 12) \"Channel Islands\" XEmacs
Lucid").
Running (split-string "foo bar" "") starts the flashing mouse pointer
(from busy to not) and just pauses. Ctrl-g kills this.
This boils down to a regexp call in C. I assume something is going
wrong there. Is is still true that the xemacs version of the regexp
code is used rather than a system copy of the functions?
uname -a =>
Linux eeyore 2.4.0-test12pre4-reiserfs-cuecat-ipsec #1 Wed Nov 29 12:53:25 EST 2000 i686
unknown
Thanks
