I tried this on our Solaris 2.5.1 systems shortly after gcc 2.8.1 came
out. It dumps core in either temacs or xemacs. I didn't try to debug
the crash since gcc 2.7.2.x compiles everything just fine, and I had
better things to do at the time than track down the bugs in *two*
pieces of software. :-)
