[Bug: 21.5-b16] font and fontsize don't change

================================================================ Dear Bug Team! What happened: I just installed XEmacs 21.5.16. After startup I noticed that the font and fontsize were different than in my stable XEmacs 21.4.12. (stable displays "Fixed" 16, beta displays "Courier" 12) I tried to change Options->Font to "Fixed" but only the font of the tab changed, the buffer text stayed the same. Then I tried to change Options->Font Size to 16. No change. Both menus still have the old settings checked. With xemcas -vanilla it's exactly the same. I noticed something strange right now: If flyspell highlights a word, the word is displayed in "Fixed" (the font I tried to set) while the rest of the text is still in "Courier".
