Changes uploaded to
added GNU-Emacs-footnote.diff
added XEmacs-footnote.diff
I have applied all patches you mentioned to footnote.el.
When I applied
this last on *all* chunks got rejected. So I just took the original one
and applied that patch and everything was fine. I thought you should
know:
either my patch version is too old [1] or something is wrong.
modified footnote-init.el
Can you try again with new files above?
When compiling footnote-init, I obtain:
While compiling the end of the data:
** the function in-comment-p-lor is not known to be defined.
So I downloaded that file as well, maybe a require in footnote-init
would be a good thing?
Please load string-strip to, it provides a general from
stripping chars from strings, saving time.
I still have problems:
Footnote-add-footnote works fine, the functions
with the fi- prefix don't but I will now try this out with xemacs
-vanilla.
A last word to message mode: now I can add footnote just be calling
Footnote-add-footnote which results in [2], but I can turn on footnote
mode. I obtain
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "Invalid prefix keys in sequence" (control
d) [(control c) (control d) a])
define-key(#<keymap size 40 0x3e03> [(control c) (control d) a]
Footnote-add-footnote)
local-set-key([(control c) (control d) a] Footnote-add-footnote)
my-set-footnote-keys()
run-hooks(my-set-footnote-keys)
footnote-mode(1)
(lambda nil (interactive) (message "Footnote mode is on.") (footnote-mode
1))()
call-interactively(turn-on-my-footnote-mode)
Uwe
bis morgen ansonsten
Grüße
Andreas
