build failure on Ubuntu 12.04.1
Thanks for the "apt-get build-deps xemacs21" suggestion - that pulled in a few
packages and now at least the tty console works.
However it's still not usable, instead of seeing character glyphs I just have red
rectangles. Here's a screenshot of what the scratch buffer looks like after I've
