BTW, is there an hg tag for the 21.5.30 release? Is it last-gplv2?
If so, shouldn't there be a more conspicuous tag for this release?
This is an hg misfeature: 'hg tag' creates a new commit. There are
the usual two tags ("r21-5-30" and "r21-5-latest-beta") as well as
the
one-time-only "last-gplv2" tag. It's quite confusing if you use 'hg
log'; 'hg view' shows the tags quite clearly.
I guess in the future I'm going to have to hand-edit the .hgtags file,
and ignore 'hg tag'.
I'm looking forward to trying this new version out (even though I
have
been using the tip from a few weeks ago).
Thank you for your patience and support.
BTW, we would appreciate you using the tip of the "xemacs" repo, as
that is the GPLv3+ code base we want to release on Friday. There
should be no problems (all changes are in comments), but you know
about "fail safe" and "idiot proof" changes....
