module-directory is nil with -batch? (21.4.22)

Hi all, The following command displays nil, $ xemacs -batch -eval '(message "%s" module-directory)' nil is that a bug? This is 21.4.22 and -vanilla changes nothing. The OS is illumos (solaris) and I built xemacs myself. Furtermore, on Ubuntu, I get /build/buildd/xemacs21-21.4.22/modules/ which is probably incorrect. Is that a bug for the package maintainer? Does anyone have an explanation for the difference?
