After fixing that problem by editing the icon's properties it ran just fine as a full install on my machine here at home where I have 160 megs of ram. If I try to run exactly the same set up on my machine at work where there is only 64 megs of RAM it always told me it was out of some kind of resource when loading the .emacs file (the file copied form my home machine where it worked fine). Finnaly gave up on Xemacs on that particular machine after days of playing with it and switched to JED, in emacs mode.
